Summertime, at a lake or the seaside, preferably during sunset. A beach party would be a great spot. Music and fashion are closely connected. What style of clothing do you have in mind when thinking of the people who’d listen to Collectors Series Pt.2? Stuff that is not standardized or available through the mass market. Something innovative and inspiring. You have put together a box-set to go along with this compilation? The box set includes a KAOS customized Nike Air Max 1 sneaker. Definitely a summer shoe so it goes perfectly in line with the style of the CD. Moreover there’s the Mix CD and an accompanying poster. All of that is assembled in a special bag. The box set is limited to 30 and is just distributed to friends and journalists. |
Past / FUTURE If you could travel back in time – which period would you choose in regards to music/art/design/etc. and who would you like to meet in person? 1970s / Andy Warhol What are you working on right now? I just did a mix for Antena (a cult french cosmic band) and finished the final touches for my upcoming Bingo compilation. It’s a collaboration with my partner David Muallem. There’s also an accompanying club night taking place once a month in Monaco di Baviera. The compilation reflects the sound we play at our club. I also just finished remixes for Chk Chk Chk, New Young Ponyclub, and I released my new single “Pano Peeps”. What is on your to-do list for the next seven days? NYC, LA, San Diego, San Francisco. |
FINALE What are your pastime activities besides music? I used to do graffiti, graphic & fashion design and some skateboarding. Where do you go to find inspiration? Where do you go to relax? I found inspiration at the mountains of Bavaria. I also like to relax there.
