Center For Modern Running
The Center For Modern Running is a format Beinghunted. developed and produced on its own initiative, with strong support from its partners CEP and Advanced Research, and with Product Index hosting several of the program points and group runs. For the extended week of the Berlin Marathon, the Beinghunted. space at Wallstraße 4 in Berlin Mitte became a home for the sport, with a café, a shop, a meeting space and a multi-functional room for activations.
Runners set the tone, but the room stayed open to everyone. Berlin’s running community used it as a base for marathon week, international athletes stopped by with their crews, and walk-ins came from the surrounding offices and hotels, non-runners included.
CEP built a showroom across all three days: the current collection on aluminium display tables and open rails, with a dedicated area for the collaboration with Advanced Research under the Run Better campaign. Next to it, an HHV pop-up brought together SATISFY, District Vision, Ante, SOAR and more, placing CEP among the labels that define modern running culture. Guests could try pieces on and talk to the CEP team on site.
Five sessions gave the week its shape: a Nomio performance panel with Product Index and runner Johannes Motschmann; Run, Art, Run, an evening group run to the Neue Nationalgalerie for a guided tour of Maurizio Cattelan’s NIGHT; a media session on the CEP × Advanced Research Core Run AR Edition compression socks; a CEP workshop with Product Index on the Optaspeed; and a River Run with SAP Good Energy and Product Index along the Landwehrkanal, the last easy effort before the marathon.
Hospitality was part of the space from the first morning: a coffee bar with Bonanza and La Marzocco, doughnuts from Atelier Dough, Grenade bars, and fresh Tiny’s Pizza after the museum run, with Nomio and SAP Good Energy for the session guests.
For the running community Beinghunted.’s Center For Modern Running worked as a base through marathon week. The group runs went from Wallstraße 4 into the city, one to the Neue Nationalgalerie, one along the Spree the day before the race. 52 creators and athletes posted from the space, with a combined following of more than one million - road runners and run clubs, fitness and training creators, nutrition and lifestyle voices - many of them meeting for the first time at Wallstraße 4. The workshop and the panel gave them time with the product and the people behind it, a rare chance in the busiest week of the running year.
