DC - BLK WTR

Vista, USA While the first images from DC's new line of apparel and footwear - BLK WTR (Black Water) - appeared at the beginning of the year, only now have the first packages been delivered to the few retailers globally. BLK WTR, part of the "Connoisseur Series", sets out to cater to a slightly more distinguished consumer - the one who might have grown out of the now so widely popular all-over/day-glo styles (or the one who would want to get some black back into his wardrobe). For the footwear, DC chose four of their popular models - the Aquastriker, Frogman, Nightrider, and Marine Low - and upped them with new features such as waterproof nubuck, neoprene sockliners, or ballistic nylon. Expectations were quite high regarding the apparel in the BLK WTR package: Japanese selvedge raw denim, 3-layer construction, leather, lasered/heat sealed finishes... And DC delivered - a collection that is as well produced as it has been designed. All materials have been put into 'use' on the garments.
