| Who do you most like on the current music
scene? Obviously the ones I have worked with. Any new acts we should be looking out for? I'm not really the person to ask about that really... I don't really pay attention that much. What's your favourite place in Europe and why? Different places for different reasons, I like Berlin; it's a great late nightlife city. I like Romania; it's very much a DJing thing you know? If I wanted to go somewhere to get away I'd go to Italy, and I love Ibiza, so I don't really have a favourite place. so it depends on what you're going for right? James, what makes you laugh at the moment, and what scares you? I think my daughter does both of those things. She's ten now, going on a teenager! I also find that people scare me... materialism and greed that scares me. This seems to be a current topic, as when I spoke to Lenny (Futura) recently, he said the same thing. Are we becoming 'graded' by what clothes we wear, or the shoes we wear, is that it? The culture has become very disposable. Other things? Politics scares me and religion scares me too. When I met you last time, you seemed to be in a very reflective period of your life, and embarking on some spiritual element to it, is that where you are now? [ ... to be continued in Part II] |
