What is your role in the T-shirt production process?
We provided a selection of images to choose from an gave to final ok on colorways and selection
What influenced your decision to work with UARM to make tees?
They had an awesome line up of artists.
How do you feel about the grey area where art and product meet?
We don't know about any grey area. We only see thing in black and white. Well to begin with it is not art;
It is a T-shirt. But if you cut the thing up and stretch it and hang it on the wall it could pass as a piece of art.
What goes into your thought process when deciding which designs can be put on a shirt?
The main thing we think about is if we would wear the shirt or not.
Anything else you would like Beinghunted readers to know?
The images we choose to use for the limited edition set were images that we have put up all around the world
over the past few years as a art experiment between friends. It was a life style based on freedom of
expression through public art. The art form allowed us to travel and to make a living enjoying what we do. We
are cool with the whole limited edition thing as long as we get a few shirts for ourselves and our friends. Not
every one can afford a print or a piece of art so its all good. You know, to be honest, there is a great line up
artists on UARM and that was one motivation to be part of the project. The other was simply to get the images
out there: It does not matter to us if we are working on shirts, a car, a truck or diapers. We just want to keep
making crazy shit. |
